Terms of our services

Which Term?

You should follow the rules below when selecting the term of a mortgage: -

  • Keep the term as low as possible as the loan is paid off sooner and less interest is paid.

  • The term should finish before your expected retirement age as your income will fall considerably on retirement.

  • If remortgaging, maintain or reduce the existing term. Only in extreme circumstances should you raise the term.

  • Get quotes or use our calculator for a variety of terms to see what the difference is.

Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.
