About "I set up the company after being somewhat dismayed by the service being offered by mortgage brokers and the fees they were charging for that service. As a qualified adviser, who had first hand experience of mortgage advice, I decided that harnessing the ever-improving technology to conduct business was the best way forward for the client and the advice business. By using technology, the client can contact you from anywhere in the country and have a written record of your conversation via email or instant messenger. With mobile devices, this is getting even easier! Therefore, they have a better understanding of the mortgage product as they can refer back to what was highlighted. With no need for a fancy office in the centre of a city or to visit clients, the overheads of the business can be lowered dramatically, which can be passed on to the client by way of not having to charge any extortionate 'broker' fees. The business has moved on since my early days and I am now empowering the client further by simply providing the best three deals and they can choose the one that suits them best. Research has shown us that this is what most people moving or remortgaging want and just need a bit of reassurance, which is perfectly normal. If someone requires help - first-time buyers and people consolidating debt or have credit issues should always seek help - we are on hand to do so with no additional charge. Our income is derived in two ways: - 1. Commission generated from introducing the business to the lender or 2. The client pays a fee (generally 0.5% of the loan amount, which on a £100,000 loan equates to £500) and the commission generated is paid back to the client Remember, we do the paperwork thereby taking the strain out of applying for a mortgage especially in these challenging times. I prefer a simple website, but if you want something added or have any questions, please contact me at mail@emortgageadvice.com. I'll answer personally, but please no sales or spam."
